Some things I don't understand

Hi guys, I have some questions:

  1. Do Explosive Arrows damage YOUR OWN strurctures in PVE ? Do they Damage your own thralls ?

  2. I noticed that when I got damage from Spiked T3 Walls, those walls got damaged in return. Is this intended ? Is this happening when other players got damaged ? Even in PVE mode ?
