“Age of War” is just a bunch of table changes regarding NPCS & Weapon damage??
And a travesty at that.

I think the spotlight in this chapter is on the treasure system, legendary revamp, stamina changes and durability.
Also, this chapter sets the groundwork for PvE sieges(from what I understand, these will be NPC owned bases that can be raided), the purge revamp and we might even get player vendors by chapter 3(this is speculation at this point).
I like this Age of War better than Sorcery, because I’m a fan of purges. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
And we need to remind ourselves that this next Chapter is again in three parts so pre-judging the overall Chapter based on whatever we get on release (today?) is premature.
Exciting times!
And for private servers: make sure those backups are done and, if modded, that players know to be patient whilst everyone waits on the excellent Modding Community to do their thing.

yes there is no GLOBAL overhaul like AoS in the 1st stage, if you want experience full AoW stuff, must wait till 3rd chapter i suppose =(
You cant compare looting treasures mechanics + banners with AoS stuff (totally new sorcery system + 15 spells, bunch of new mechanics and stations (demons, teleportation, zombies)).
With Chapter 1 of AoS devs hit very high bar so i can understand why people upset for now.
Patchnotes for AoW look more like big good regular game update with some tweaks and QOL changes + some of new minor stuff.
So look at 1 stage of AoW like a foundation for bigger updates in future. Thats all.
