We play on a private PvE Server.
Map is Exile Lands
No Mods
We killed 5 or more sorcerers none of them dropped a single map for the hidden place where you can learn the sorcery.
Do you have one in inventory already? That blocks getting new maps.
No … I don’t have on in the inventory.
Sorcerers still don’t have any maps in their inventory after the recent update.
This is so weird, me and a friend started fresh on an official server and have gotten loads of sorcerer maps, directly from a sorcerer but also in the bag they sometimes drop 
Ok thats strange… we play on a rented server but we don’t use any mods. So it should also work 
But our sorcerers do not have any maps
Do you know the location and or would you like it?
I have found that Sorcerers are now dropping the map - inside the pack they carry with them. Select the pack, - looks like a buddle of stuff, select in your inventory after picking up and USE with X, Map is now normally inside.
After USE the map and contents will now be in your inventory…
I can confirm that maps now drop from the bags sorcerer carry, the ones that also give spell component pouches.
That was probably done to reduce loot spam - good decision imho.
