Sound Problems after last update

Server type: PvE
Region: Europe
Mods?: Yes
Edition: Steam

Bug Description:

Sound Problems: Overlapping music, sound stutters and random restarting music pieces, sfx much deeper (voices, effects, etc.).

Expected Behavior:

Since the last bigger update I had these problems.
Before that, everything was fine (patch 2.4.6).

Installed Mods:

Grid Map (A-Z)
Hosav’s Custom UI Mod

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start the game
  2. Join the server
  3. Problems
  4. Etc.

Hi,

thanks for the response.
I checked without any mods in singleplayer and the problem is still there.
So it has nothing to do with the mods and on- offline experience.
Any other ideas?

Hi,

the problem wasn’t the games.
I was playing something else and the same issues occured. After that, I checked my sounddevices and noticed something odd at the driver for my webcam.
Seems like the webcam was causing the trouble.
Since I unplugged it, everythings fine.
