Found out why leveling my character in Heavy Armor has been tough on the official. Trying out a SVG build and I was maxing STR then VIT then GRIT. The big issue was stamina exhaustion since I wasn’t getting grit until the end.
Stamina regen start delay is .1 seconds between actions (after animations) while NOT exhausted
While exhausted there are three factors that determine the exhausted delay before stamina starts regenerating: armor class, max stamina, weight
I gathered some times - this wasn’t super scientific I didn’t record a video and measure the times between just used a stopwatch. I just want to show the massive differences of running out of stam for characters while they level up.
Also on singleplayer so online might be slightly more delayed.
Only doing times for green and yellow, orange and red is just further delayed but you really shouldn’t be choosing combat at those levels of encumbrance.
For green weight testing I tested at 1% , 36% and 46% encumbrance and got the same numbers.
Exhausted recovery times:
100 stamina - light armor - green weight - 1.25 seconds
100 stamina - light armor - yellow weight - 2.6 seconds
180 stamina - light armor - green weight - .4 seconds
180 stamina - light armor - yellow weight - 1.05 seconds
100 stamina - med armor - green weight - 1.56 seconds
100 stamina - med armor - yellow weight - 2.7 seconds
180 stamina - med armor - green weight - .6 seconds
180 stamina - med armor - yellow weight - 1.15 seconds
100 stamina - heavy armor - green weight - 2.03 seconds
100 stamina - heavy armor - yellow weight - 3.23 seconds
180 stamina - heavy armor - green weight - .8 seconds
180 stamina - heavy armor - yellow weight - 1.4 seconds
I also have mentioned is some other previous topics about no penalty for stamina exhaustion - that was incorrect as shown above.
Please feel free to add more discoveries or do better timings, I couldn’t find anything on the wiki or from funcom but if the stamina changes stay as they are, this will become very very important.
