Stops swinging after unequipping off-hand

When swinging a pick-ax or hatchet with a torch or shield on and unequipping the shield or torch will cause the animation to stop and be unable to swing again until the main-handed or off-hand item is reequipped.

  1. Equip pick-ax or hatchet.
  2. Equip torch or shield.
  3. Hold left mouse button to constantly swing.
  4. Unequip torch or shield while still holding left mouse button.

I’ve found that you need to re-equip the weapon to swing at all, clicking to swing doesn’t work at all until then, and it doesn’t make a difference if you were holding attack.
