Stygian Invader Armor (Siptah on Exiled Lands)

So a question, the other day i had a NPC show up at my bar that i sadly could not target or talk to wearing this armor. Can anyone confirm that occasionally they do show up as a recruitable NPC and thus allow us to get singular sets of these armors?

I am talking about this specific kind, and all armors related to that knowledge:

Also, does anyone know of a fix for (tavern) NPCs you can’t interact with? I already tried using various sorceries, gassing them, leaving the area, relogging and just bashing their heads in.
None of it works. Decoy just makes them briefly stand up and unsheathe their weapons.

I believe you can get Siptah thralls in the tavern. As you are probably aware the decoration NPCs in your tavern have their armors they typically wear while the recruitable thralls do not. I don’t believe there is a current way to get that recipe in EL yet.

Ahh that is a shame, i would’ve really liked to get one or two sets of those armors, knowledge of it be damned.

Ah well, /cheers! At least i know i won’t have to try and put up several bars at an attempt to get some.

See if there is an old timer on your server that participated in the server transfers back in the day. They may have the Siptah recipe and could craft it for you.

Are they wearing something different from the regular stygian invader armor, which you can unlock from an interactable object in the world. I make that armor quite often.

If you find a Blowback random event in Seperamaru or The Summoning Place, then there is a fifty percent chance to get Stygian Raiders as enemies, and they will drop Stygian Raider armor quite often.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Assuming it every comes back out again.

Neat, i’ll keep an eye out! Thank you for the heads up.

Nah just the regular armor from the Siptah non-purge stygians is what i’m looking for on the EL.
I assume there is no interactible on the Exiled Lands to learn it still, right?

Currently on Xbox PvE server 2002 (EU), if you happen to be on there and have the recipe from way back when!

To add to this, you may want a bearer or storage boxes nearby as a very large amount can drop. Numerous full sets per event.
Possibly shift to an encumbrance build.

As of yet, this one has not seen the Stygian Invader or Stygian Mercenary armour recipes from Siptah on the Exiled Lands.
Which is very sad.
This one would much rather that the higher tier Stygian Raiders at Al Merayah be wearing either Stygian Scale Armour (from the base game) or the Invader Armour (as they are, you know, Invading) rather than the Khari gear (which does not drop). Or just put an armour stand that one interacts with, not unlike how Hyena Fur armour is learned.

Alternatively, a less intrusive way to add it (or the recipes) could be including it in the boxes at the end of a purge.

I had no luck so far with blowback Stygians on XBox PvE (i play on 2022 EU but running around on 2002 for a couple of days just for sightseeing. Quite unfriendly in some places with huge walled areas, closed gates, empty megastructures and no maprooms… But also some very nice buildings). On singleplayer i had 5 or 6 encounters with Cimmerians an only one with Stygians (but on Playstation it was about 50:50 for me, strange). Just now happens a grave matter event at Flotsam but i’m level 13 and naked…

I find the Stygian one primarily spawns in Sepermeru. The Summoning Place is USUALLY Cimmerians.

No luck yet on my end getting anything past Grave Matters to spawn.

Yeah, there’s some large structures on top of high traffic areas that need navigating around and whatnot, sadly. Though i’ve seen much worse. There’s no real -transparent- teleport network currently either i think. I might give it a whack once i finish building my base, depending on what i find at some interesting spots.

The obelisks in the jungle for example don’t have any maprooms near them last i checked, either. So far it’s just the Volcano and of course Warmakers that have a maproom at them. Not even the mounds has one i believe. Teleporters a plenty though, though not all of them NPC-dragging/treasure haulin’-friendly.

Anyhoo if you’re wanting some goodies to get settled on 2002 or make sightseeing a bit easier let me know! I’m what’s probably the only sort of roleplayer-ish named Turanian/Stygian sorcerer character on there.

If you are just north of Klaels then i hired a dancer at your bar… I just wanted to get building inspiration and not planned to stay, but caved in and set up a small decorated hut overlooking Sepermeru. Sadly no Blowback Events at all, monitoring for a week, but the Event at Flotsam bugged and starts over just as you defeat all undead pirates.

Yeah, i’ve been making it a habit to clear any encounter i can find and to then visit Sepermeru asap but no Blowback encounters at all. Getting Grave Matters at the Summoning Place and Mounds quite often.

Might just be bad luck, but encounter triggering rate seems iffy at best.

Also, yup the mostly Turanian Stormglass build north of Klael’s is my base, hope the dancer is a good one! So far the bar has just been a tease to me with the occasional stygian showing up in full armor, as an unrecruitable patron.

Grave Matters is the only event currently spawning.

It’s not RNG, Blowback is just not happening right now.
Just like the actual Witch Hunt events and the Jhebbal Sag stalker at night.

Ouch, yeah it was feeling like that was the only thing that works. Good to know, getting that Stygian Armor will have to go on the back burner.
