Unfortunately, I wouldn’t rely on anything happening in that regard, Persefone. 
If you have access to a laptop with an internet connection while on vacation, install Conan Exiles on it to be on the safe side and take the opportunity to update any buildings you might need to update on the official servers.
And actually, it might not be such a bad idea to do away with this annual change during the summer holidays and Christmas season. Why? I seem to recall that the change 2024 was implemented a few days later than the original announcement, which unfortunately resulted in a few players on my official servers actually losing everything because of it - they had blindly relied on the announcement.

never mind, but I’d prefer having more days before the decaying to think to myself if still its worth or not to log in from time to time to keep my stuff alive in CE.

So what is happening with the screwed up timers on thralls? Are my new ones going to disappear like my 79 that decayed before their bases did?
