Hey guys hope you can help me. I play in single game so when I tame a thrall or a pet the taming stops whne I log out. There is a setting for pets to decrease the time it takes to tame them but I don’t see anything for thralls. Regular thralls it’s not to bad for the wait but for name ones it takes forever because like I said the taming stops when I log out being in single game. So guys is there something I am missing here to make it faster for thralls? tks guys
Under server setting, go to crafting there is a slider for thrall crafting time multiplier lower it to reduces time needed.
But this only affect those are put in the wheel after the changing setting I heard.
I will make you a question before I proceed, plus I will beg you to take no offense about it. Thrall taming speeds up with taskmaster, so do you use taskmaster in your wheel of pain? Of course setting your crafting speed is a solution as well but playing this game time frames are irrelevant, especially at the beginning you loose the sence of time .
I had this issue playing single player barbaric mode. Yet all this time I believed that pc didn’t have these issues, only Playstation when it comes to single player.
In any case if you don’t use taskmaster, do it. If you need information where to find named ones just name the map you play and I’ll give you locations.
Regular T4 Taskmasters reduce tamming time by 200% and Purge T4 Tasmasters reduce time by 300%.
Yes, you need to do this, test it by yourself and see how it work best for you, when i play SP i tend to make them last about half an hour to tame.
This. Can even be set to 0.0 for instant thrall breaking.
I didn’t increase it on my SP game, but I’m a bit of a ■■■■■■■■■ when it comes to games
The fact that it only runs while your playing can make it take extreme amounts of time if you only play an hour or two at a time.
While a good taskmaster will speed it up it won’t make it run when offline.
But that’s where the true beauty of Conan comes in. The shear volume of options to customize the rules and rates to your choosing
Edit: I’m not sure why that word is censored? It just means someone who enjoys pain, and is an incredibly common term when speaking about gaming
Hmm, masticate ? Not sure which word that is.
Edit: maso-chist is often used in a sexual sense.
What? So the thralls are tamed before even put in the wheel? Awesome.
Sure, why not? I was unpacking a few new Lenovo laptops at work and installing software onto them, and the Downloads folder showed me files I’ve downloaded “tomorrow”. So Windows is actually prepared for time travelers using the OS.
As for the actual point, I’m reasonably certain that Wolfrider4594’s percentages were meant to indicate that the taskmasters make the taming go twice or thrice as quickly as normal, ie. in 50 % or 33 % of the base time.
But in multiplayer the server that the game runs on doesn’t shut down when you quit the game, so of course it will continue while you are logged off. I play single player so when I stop playing I shut down the game so that does not bother me as much. But as others mentioned before me, get a (preferably purge) named taskmaster and set the thrall crafting time to minimum.
