Texture/Render Glitch - Hack Fix (verified to work on PS5)

A few weeks ago, an ally told me a “hack” to fix the texture/render issues. All you need to do is pull out a starmetal tool (could maybe work with weapons too) but it MUST be Starmetal to work. This works 99% of the time to fix this bug. I’m wondering if anyone else knew this “hack” and if others can test on their different gaming platforms.

This…thank you!

As the saying goes: “don’t leave home without it”.

I am curious, I would try it but I can not reproduce it.
What are your settings?
Because on high/ultra it does not seem to appear, only the pink texture phenomenon (maybe I try that on this problem too).

That is a very strange bug with a very strange solution. I know at one point the grass occlusion was disabled for funcom servers; is this still the case? Its the only change that seems relevant to the wavy bits not showing up (but what a sickle equip has to do with it is very mysterious).

It doesn’t have to be a sickle…just a starmetal tool, or possibly a weapon.

I’m on PS5 official. Settings are default.

It gets even stranger because its only Siptah and the only in game fix I did was to stare out to sea and then when I turn around, foilage!

Needless to say, I don’t do much PVP in Siptah since stealth building requires foilage and such to render right.

In a moment of longing contemplation

What? Am I the only one that does that before going back to the digital rat race?

This render glitch does make PVP a bit harder…you can see people coming a mile away.

Only texture error I got was a black void cloud that got bigger and closer every time I moved chasing me down in an attempt to consume me. But that was only twice on Siptah and when I had cinematic settings enabled it went away when I disabled the cinematic settings and went back to ultra.
