How about giving thralls starting stats relative to their job. Tired of grabbing named archers and finding out “Oh this archer has 0 accuracy but 30 strength for some stupid reason” or “this fighter has zero strength but they’re really accurate”

Seriously who designed this system?

Seems like thrall stats depend on their tribe. So if you capture thralls on the north, they all will be strong. Look in different places for better archers.

Oh I get that they’re split by tribes… But if you think about it… What tribe in their right mind would hand somone who can’t aim a bow? The result is you have archer thralls, named ones even available that are useless because they have fighter stats.

This isn’t a thing that needs to be dismissively explained by how the game generates stat values for thralls, this is a thing that needs to be changed because it makes no God’s damn sense.

Well SOMEONE in the tribe needs to use a bow… if they all stink at it, I’m sure they’d hand one to old joe and say “do your best to git gud…”
