gears, thralls, followers, sorceries, items, events, ping, server issue, disconnection, unable to join the game, and everything else is just sooooooooo bugggggggggy. I don’t even know where to start!!!
If Funcom says those buggy bugs are part of sorcery, I wouldn’t argue with that. Cuz I really think it is true. Funcom is pretty magical with making something new bugs.
Everyone will not agree, because for a patch of this magnitude in change, I am pleasantly surprised how few bugs have impacted my private server. Not everyone’s experience is the same. Not to belittle or disparage mod authors, but many bugs people are experiencing are from mods, some from inferior hardware for either the client/server. Now consoles can’t do anything about their hardware (patch for ps4 came down this morning, I would expect xbox soon) but anyone who is on pc running 30-50 mods needs to remove them all and see what bugs are from 3.0 before running to “it’s 3.0’s fault”. The mod authors have work to do and shouldn’t be pestered either (players choose to use them and there is necessarily a downstream effect on mods). My current experience with 3.0 has been better than prior major updates tho.
as an old age of conan player current situation of exiles is far away from being buggy if you are not using any mods.Quite stable yet also laggy if there is more then 20 ppl around
I am quite pleased with the current state of the game hoping for more in the future.
But even the Official servers I play on - yeah, not really that many bugs. Sure, when you run into one it’s off-putting. But I played for about 12 hours in the past two days doing the challenges and didn’t run into a single bug.
Also a lot of things the OP lists there aren’t bugs but just changes he happens not to like (or be used to yet).
Hey I’m no @SirBowen or @Piankhi or other esteemed bug hunter, but I’ve got a fair number of solutions and workarounds to my record. You’re free to speak how you want, and constructive criticisms always go farther here. Just like @erjoh said.
I agree with you, but let’s be a bit more charitable. @auticus gives us a clear boundary of what the element of “player density” may contribute to the issues. A control, if you will.
How about this: for every time someone takes a dump on their keyboards, two good things should be made to balance the system. When you’re not constructive, we don’t gain anything from your report, and thus your experience is wasted. I think if you have points to make they shouldn’t be into the wind.
Yes my experience with this game made by Funcom was a total waste. Rather you are constructive or not, they won’t fix it. No matter how many months or years pass, it will still remain and they will re ask you “What was the bug again? Report it pls” I’ve even seen players reporting the exact same bug 10 times for more than a year. This is surely really really constructive. I guess I am the constructive one at this state.
I do believe busy severs are getting more effected by the performance issues if that’s what you’re getting at. I don’t want funcom to think this last patch helped because it certainly did not at least not enough. Hence why I say keep the eye on the ball
