your Journey system is really well documented

but the way it is implemented is kind of … MEH

you have it set up , so i have to sign up for each Journey before i get credit…

why on earth do i have to focus on 1 single Journey at a time

the whole Journey minigame should be 1 continuous journey and not fragmented…

if i earn credit for any journey at any time I should get full credit for it,

After playing and doing all kind of things, I looked at my journey list and it was hardly fulfilled, even for things i already did…

I downloaded a MOD to debug my journey, i had to use a 3rd party to force achievement.

I agree with you that if I complete a certain task then I should get credit where it is applicable.

The Journey system doesn’t work like that though. Appears that they kept a lot of the functionality from the old system.

The journey steps I would say are mainly for new or inexperienced players. I know when I first started they help stop me from being overwhelmed with new information.

For experienced players I agree it becomes a bit frustrating not to just have them completed. But not that much that I would want them to focus on this rather than bug fixing or new content.
