You need to revert the LT = Move All change for controller/gamepad players. I have never heard so many f-bombs dropped in voice chat than I have since that change went into effect. It happens at least 5 times a night on our server and it’s always by accident, and always results in a loss of time, and the person who does it never intended to do it.
It’s baffling that you would take an existing, highly used function (LT = start crafting) and remap it to something that has such potential negative impact, that you know people are going to accidentally do, but not only that, the thing that you map it to is something that you have to know will result in time lost with people now having to pick through said mess to figure out what they wanted in the bench and what they wanted in their inventory. Since the hotfix, where you now need to use the right stick to hop between windows, it seems to have made it worse for controller users.
Multiple people on our server have straight up rage quit in the past two days because they are constantly, accidentally moving everything from their inventories over into crafting benches. Between this change and the constant falling through foundations (which happens to the entire server at the same time about every 30 minutes, all throughout the map), we’re at our breaking point as a gaming group and considering moving on from this game for now, because we’re literally spending more time talking about workarounds for issues and looking up help online than, you know, actually playing the game. It’s to the point where, as a group we’re talking about whether or not this is worth our time, when the point is to be having fun.

- The “fall through foundations every 30 min” happens to everyone on the server multiple times a night at the same time.
- Along with falling through the map, at that same time you can’t access containers/benches (and sometimes doors) and this goes on for up to a full minute.
- We’re a mix of Steam and Game Pass users on the server, and there are no mods in use, on the Exiled Lands. Everyone is running the latest version of the game, and the server is up to date.
- Some people (like myself) are playing on the same network as the dedicated server, and others are playing across the internet, but it affects everyone the same.
Prior to the update, the “falling through foundations” thing was rare, and mostly happened to thralls at server reboot. Since the update, it’s every player multiple times a night, if they are standing on foundation or floor piece when said “event” happens.
I love the game, but this update has pushed us to the point of quitting and moving onto something else, because, I mean look at this rant… I should have been playing instead of writing this, but it’s to the point that these issues dominate the conversation around the game. On the server we can’t talk about planning on doing something without also constantly talking about things like “I just fell through the world” or “I just accidentally transferred my entire inventory again… give me a few minutes” or “sprint-lock is now broken, so here are some workarounds, you may have to restart the game”
No other game in our rotation demands this of us. Even 7 Days to Die requires fewer workarounds to play, and that’s saying something…
