The Purge is here again! (mod)

Released another update to this mod

This time the admin area got a bit of an overhaul. You can now zoom and pan on the tool that helps with defining zone coordinates and there’s new tools for admins to balance and make their custom purges more interesting.

Here’s a quick video showing the new tools:

Changelog:

  • Added Damage multiplier for spawn configuration
  • Added Health multiplier for spawn configuration
  • Added modifiers system: NPC spawn entries can now have various effects (expandable in the future) such as sandstorm masks, regen, etc.
  • Upgraded map zone selector UI to make it easier to select smaller areas: added zoom, pan as well as move and resize for the selection box while also changing the style of said box so it’s more obvious
  • Added Test button on purge list UI which you can use to quickly start the selected purge on your nearest base
  • Replaced all checkboxes on the Admin UI with a more visible custom made one
  • other small tweaks

For those who haven’t tried this out yet: do so! It is a great mod. It is as harsh, as fun and as possibly lucrative as the old purge, and a reason to build your bases for defense again.

Slaughter desperate cannibals that come to your fortress looking to abduct and eat your favorite thralls. Sharpen your skinning knife when a horde of crocodiles emerges from the river to invade your stables. And tremble in fear when the army of Toth Amon approaches.

Xevyr, Tephra, once again, you have outdone yourself.

Thanks  Glad you like it!

Thank you so much for this incredibly good mod!

The constant threat is an excellent addition to Conan.

Your Purge mod works very well, and you’ve significantly improved the spawn behavior.

I couldn’t resist running my own server with it.

I’ve seen that you can customize the enemies.

I would be happy if I could set a global setting for an HP and damage multiplier.

Then I wouldn’t have to edit every single wave of this rich mod.

It would fit well with the server concept, since powerful gear mods like ā€œAoCā€ and ā€œEEWAā€ make the vanilla enemies somewhat less challenging.

Unfortunately, FC has only implemented sliders that don’t change the HP values.

And the other sliders, like player damage multiplier or NPC damage multiplier, don’t feel quite the same.

Best wishes, Snu
