The Wine Cellar quest cannot be completed as you progress through the journey. Even after the 4th attempt, the travel progress remains at “Explore the wine cellar”. That’s where I was before the updates. Now I want to complete the quest, but unfortunately the journey progress doesn’t change even after the final boss.
Try to switch to another journey and then switch it back and try again after Thag respawns. Make sure you loot him after his death.

I’ve tried everything and it doesn’t work. Do I have to complete the quest alone or can I have a clan mate?
And logging off and back in and your console? Maybe you have to run around a bit more, or enter/leave the dungeon more times until it triggers. But usually the “explore” step means to kill the main boss. It’s apparently bugged, I can only advice you to try it more times, each time after switching to another journey and then back.
And yes, you can finish the journey with a clanmate. I believe you two killing the boss together is enough to finish this step, only both of you have to at least hit the boss before he dies.
I’ve tried all of that too, even on different days after a server restart. That’s why I’m starting to suspect that it might be related to the update.
