I took a look at the Words of Power on the wiki and saw a picture of a Goldstone node under Detect resources. I can’t remember ever seeing a Goldstone node ever in my life!
Am I blind?
They appear in Siptah. Unfortunately, they’re non-existent in the Exiled Lands
Ever since 3.0, graphically, they appear the same as silverstone nodes. I’m sure Funcom will eventually get around to fixing their appearance, but they currently have more important bugs to squish. 
Ah. I never bought the Siptah DLC, so that’s probably why I didn’t know they existed. Gold rocknoses at the volcano it is then!
You can also farm gold if you pick away at obsidian.
