This game is going to die again because they haven’t fixed the lag (desync) issue, and the devs aren’t saying anything about it; they’re just pretending not to know.
They know, they just don’t want to or can’t fix it. When people wrote about it, they attached photos of the server’s ping and FPS. The developers simply removed the option to view the ping and FPS.
And so this is the only and fatal error that kills the game. You can tolerate any bug, but not a constant ping of 500+. Although I once played this game for 12,000 hours.

Online experience and server performance
Although server performance continues to improve, we understand that some of you are still experiencing issues with ping, rubberbanding, and server lag. With the latest patch, we introduced a Refresh button that shows the correct ping for each server and helps you find the perfect one.
We’re currently testing and adjusting more settings to improve online play on official servers.
