First of all, I’m grateful for the efforts FC is putting into the thralls, the AI, and the QoL surrounding them. I like what I see and the direction they’re going. Of course with any new system there will be issues to sort out, but this is a good start.
My suggestion is to provide us with a better guide behind the command system and the new AI mechanics. Shoot, even just knowing what was intended will help us be better bug hunters. I know much of Conan has been a game of trial/error on the player’s part, and for the most part, I have both appreciated this and think it’s a great idea. But this is purely a mechanics issue that players NEED to know in order for the game to be fun. Trying to figure out how in the world your thrall’s commands work, it’s aggro, how it follows you around, engages in combat, etc, is NOT something that I think is part of the ‘fun’ of figuring the game out. Discovering berries in a press for pulp, or unappetizing fish giving ichor, that’s a discovery. How the thralls work, not so much, IMO.
And while I’m at it, I’ll insert this… please do the same with the Purge. The Purge 101 guide is incredibly lacking.
Thanks!
