First problem: Some of my thralls sometimes suddenly disappear from the home area without me having done anything about it. I can save a thrall every hour, but that can’t be what the inventor intended, especially as the entire inventory of human thralls is then deleted. Is it possible to shorten the retrieval time? I think one hour is quite a long time.
Second problem: If my character is killed in battle, I have to laboriously collect the thralls I took with me from the area around my corpse. However, they are not always all in the same position, but are usually scattered randomly in places in the area that I have previously visited.
I would have liked to know whether both of these errors are officially known and can be fixed?
I am currently only playing the Savage Wilds mod, i.e. the map offered in the workshops. Is it possible that these bugs only occur on this map? Or are these problems also known on the Isle of Siptah or the Land of the Exiles?
Is it possibly a graphical problem? And if so, what default settings should be made? I have already set the lowest video settings.
What still annoys me is the behavior of the craftsmen, priests and slave drivers. I set up the thrall pot with enough space around it. But these special thralls run into each other on this pot.
I already complained about this in an older post. These craftsmen get stuck on the tinker’s workbench as well as the plant-based tannery.
It would be nice if this bug could finally be fixed. I don’t want to have to constantly move the craftsmen around when playing.
Your first problem is the Living Settlement System and its bugs. Unless you cut off their ability to path entirely the instability of the system will cause your crafters to die for whatever reasons.
Your second sounds like a performance problem and could arguably be due to the map but maybe also due to hardware, stability of the game, internet connection, etc., etc.,…
If you are on singleplayer, then you also have the option to turn off Living Settlements in the server settings - that would solve the first set of problems.
The second set of problems (thralls scattered around places you previously visited after you die) makes me wonder if there might be another issue. If you have previously placed a follower ‘On Guard’ somewhere, even temporarily, and then you die the follower will travel back to that last place they were on guard. It is possible that this is what is happening.
The other possiblity is as Kiki suggests, some sort of desync when you die. But the only time I’ve ever had that effect has been when the game crashed and I had to log back in - those times I often wind up in one spot while my followers are 100 yards back or forward on the path I was travelling when the crash occured. Whereas the way you describe it sounds more like they have travelled back to the last place they were placed on guard.
If there is a problem with the hardware of my computer or similar, I can also provide my computer data so that you can assess whether my computer still meets the requirements for this game. I have already done something similar with other game providers, such as Blizzard.
In other words: if the thralls appear somewhere in the game world after my character dies, is this intentional on Funcom’s part or is it a long-term bug that will be fixed at some point?
