I’m not expecting any dev to read this let alone respond but at least it’s up here. I love the pvp combat in this game, it has some flaws for sure, especially the hit boxes, but for the most part it’s satisfying. What’s not satisfying however is being 2 tapped by a thrall that has been buffed every hour with pork rinds. This buff needs to be removed from the game entirely. It’s nice for over content but what’s the point of nerfing the thralls when the pork buff negates this? Funcom, why is this so hard for you to address? Why do you continue to forsake you’re community that enjoys this game? It makes no sense. Do you expect us to be hyped for Siptah when all these problems are going to remain and expect us to live with it?
We have been very patient with you and love you’re game, however, it feels as though you expect us to wait forever.

For what it’s worth, the thrall pork buff is considerably reduced in power since Siptah released on pc - and presumably will be when the updates hit console. The way it now works, they still get to feed the thrall pork for a 25% buff but a) it can no longer be stacked with another food for the extra 10%, and b) it ‘locks’ the thrall to only eating pork for the duration of the buff, so they get the worst possible healing. (Same points apply with pets and their ‘top left’ food)
I don’t know if that’s enough to make the change for PVP or not, but it is at least a reduction in the power
Well, that’s at least a step in a better direction. The main issue is the buff being stackable every hour, boosting damage to absurd amounts. I just started playing on a private server and the admin doesn’t reset the server every day, allowing our rivals to get 300% damage bonuses or more. It’s insane. One stack of 25% isn’t a big issue but there’s something in the coding that allows the thrall to retain its damage buff even though it doesn’t display it until server reset.
Oh, right, yeah, I remember that happening. I actually don’t know if that still works or not - I know there’s a lot less pork feeding generally - hopefully that means it no longer works that way (and it’s not just that lots of people have forgotten to try it ).
