Thralls missing from set location

Bug Description:

When signing off for the night, I return the next day, within 24 hours and my thralls that I regularly use ARE NOT IN THE SPOT WHERE THE ICON SHOWS. There are no thralls. It will tell you that the thrall is in your followers, has a tracking icon displayed, is in the area you set them to guard, and is not there. I tore up the floors of my base, nothing. Looked around in all spots NOTHING. Thrall is still in original guard location but simply cannot be found. Rescue option is not a fix as it DESTROYS EVERYTHING that is on the thrall.


No installed mods!!!

Steps to Reproduce:

Set thrall to guard. Sign off. Sign back in. NO THRALL. This happened to a mount of mine as well.

How do we bump this, or find other reports matching this behavior?

I have the exact same problem on my account on an official server. There are like 8 thralls missing, but in my clan’s base.

I’m not sure but if you have anyone you know who plays this and experienced the problem, have them chime in on here

They just fall undermesh

I had the same problem in my Siptah solo play base after the Nemidian DLC triggered a game update (I don’t have that DLC so only the base game updated for me).
I’ve lost over 40 Tier 3 and named NPC Thralls because of this - of all fighter types (archers, dancers, etc.) but all my workbench NPCs are still there. Also, all the low tier fighting NPCs that were stored in chests and cupboards, or still on the wheels of pain, are still there. It’s only the one’s who’d been set out on guard that have disappeared.

In single player, failed thralls and pets can be returned to the surface. Switch to ghost mode, stand at the place where the thrall was, and fly straight down until you see him, immediately grab him and fly up.
Only today in this way I saved two archers and two animals.
