Every contract has a termination clause.
And I guarantee you one of those subsections involves poor support.
So the question is really “can Funcom prove GPortal isn’t delivering satisfactory support”.
Not sure if youre in the game industry or not, it sounds like you are, but what youre suggesting sounds like funcom wont be able to fix this easily. They might be able to chip away at it over time.
Changing the frame latency to net latency has allowed more players to get online at least but the experience is miserable.
Edit: When I say uncom, I really mean Inflexion, perhaps Tencent took this game away from fc and decided flex had more expertise with this type of game?
That doesn’t answer my question of “Why update the graphics and keep it on such bad servers?”
You theorized why they stick with GPortal… not why they stuck with them while spending time/money to update the servers as well…
