Timeline of SWL updates

A long way was ran through since the relaunch of the game. I decide to create a timeline to trace this adventure. This post is create for new players who want to see an historic of SWL updates (with the more importants details). This timeline will be update at each new big update.

Game Launch

• 24th june 2017 : pre-relaunch of SWL (for old TSW’s player)
• 26th june 2017 : public launch of SWL (with agarthan cache)
• 31th july 2017 : steam launch of SWL
    ◦ (Solomon Island, Egypt and Transylvania zones)

2017

• 5th july : addition of 5 elites dungeons 
• 12th july : addition of the story mission "What Was Missed" (TSW Issue 7 : A Dream to Kill - Transylvania)
• 26th july : Infernal cache 
• 1st august – 15th august : Whispering Tide event
• 16th august : Tokyo : Back to the beginning 
• 7th september : New-York Raid + Lair Megabosses + Future tech cache
• 19th september : Tokyo : Beyond the wall 
• 11th october : Tokyo : Orochi Tower + Kaidan Lair (Lair + Lair Megabosse) + Haunted cache
• 18th october -  31th october : Shamain (The Cat God)
• 4th november : Extra Life SWL community
• 14th november : QoL update 1 
    ◦ anima allocation 
    ◦ talismans specific belt for 9 weapons + 1 generalist
    ◦ reward chests homogenization (last chest for elite dungeons, and all chests for scenarios and lairs)
    ◦ addition of cities hubs (London + Seoul + New York) and museum of occult in the possible places to teleport
• 12th december : Winter cache + Barbershop (London) + Plastic surgeon (New-York)
• 12th december – 8th january 2018 : Krampusnacht (Hel - Niflheim)

2018

• 18th january 2018 : lauch of the first « week-end event »
• 27th february 2018 : Agent System Network + increase players capacity of London, Seoul and New-York at 60 players
    ◦ Classic Agent booster
• 4th april 2018 : Dawn of the Morninglight (New Dawn zone) + Tribal cache
    ◦ South Africa Agent booster 
• 8th may 2018 : QoL update 2 (big patch update)
• 20th june – 17th july 2018 : First SWL Anniversary + Anniversary Cache + minimal players capacity in Agartha 80 ~ max 100 (good bye agartha lags :-p )
• 1st August 2018 : First pack mission 
    ◦ 3 faction ranking missions are back (first use of scaling tech)
        ▪ 3 special factions outfits + unlock faction rank 11th to 13th + 1 mask for each faction + 3rd mission slot for agent system (the 4th for patrons) + 1 special quatermaster agent for each faction 
    ◦ 2 New Dawn Missions (1 sabotage + 1 secondary)
    ◦ relaunch of Agarthan Cache 
• 19th september Launch of the new scenario : Occult Defense in Stonehenge  : first end-game content that use scaling tech (addition of specific agents rewards for the scenario)
• 19th september – 3rd october : The equinox is upon us – new seasonal event : Envoys of Avalon (one agent and sprint exclusive at the event)
    ◦ Druids of Avalon Agent booster (launch with the event but permanently present). 
• 19th september - 31st october : prelude of Dark Agartha in Agent System --> Introduction of agent Jeronimo de Montejo with specials missions
• 10th october : Oni War Cache
• 11th october - 1st november : Samhain (The Broadcast)
     ◦ First event that use scaling tech. Fight the presenter inside an instance that use scaling tech
• 28th october : Community Scavenger Hunt
• 3th november : Extra Life SWL Community 
• 14th november : Dark Agartha : 
     ◦ New end-game content using the scaling tech, under the form of a solo dungeon with 5 Foe. The 4 first are shuffled with skills shuffle. 
     ◦ Introduction of a new catalyser for build elaborate glyphs (4 pips). 
     ◦ NOW the item power is based on the number of pips
• 12th december - 2th january 2019 : Krampusnacht 2018 (Fog and mirror)
     ◦ First time that scaling tech is used in all zones. Agents need to kill new champions with a power based on their. 
     ◦ Champions left a phone. Decrypted the code and fight phoenicians inside an instance that use scaling tech.
     ◦ Come back of winter cache (2018)

2019

• 6th February : Occult Defense Group Scenario : Group mode activate for 5 characters. For group of less of 5 characters private mode is needed. A lot of balancing was done and scaling tech, work for group content now.

One thing, 2017.07.12 patch (2.0.2) was not Mortal Sins which was in SWL at launch, it was the “What Was Missed” story mission which served as a wrapped for the TSW Issue #7 “A Dream to Kill” story arc.

EDIT: I note this has now been corrected.
