as i was upgrading my tome of kurak the option just disappeared i was about to do the upgrade that needed human flesh and volatile glands when the option just vanished

At first I though it had something to do with maybe being to corrupted or having corrupted perks but that was the case. Wasn’t able to cast spells for a little bit when it first happened as well.
same i also tryed to rebuild the bench and removing my bracelet but nothing happened
How far where you able to make it into the spells? Not sure that last one I was able to to but I think I was almost to the zombies.

Mine looks the same. But I also have 3 books now. One I got from the very beginning and was working for a little bit. Then when it stopped working I went and got a new one. Also picked up another off another player. 2 out of the 3 have the same description. The third one has a different description. I’m in a tribe with one other and we share a bench. His still works although when he goes to learn a new spell he doesn’t actually learn it.
Also just noticed; all 3 say that when I read the description when they’re in the bench. When they’re in my inventory and I read the description they say something different.
Im having the same problem too.
I got to the second spell knowledge and it stopped showing my book as an option on the bench to upgrade. Mine looks exactly like the one someone already posted a picture of.
The only input i have is that i used a Yellow Lotus Potion right before the bug happened.
I think what’s happening, is people are curious about the permanent corruption mechanics, and when they decide it isnt for them, or they wanna do it later, they use a Yellow Lotus Potion to see if it reverses the permanent corruption attributes (It does), but then when you go to the bench to try and use the bench to upgrade spells, you no longer have the option to.

What im really wondering:
Until this is patched, is there a soft solution to this? I considered recreating my character, but i really want to avoid having to do the 1-60 grind again.
