You may have accidentally pressed the ‘Vanity Camera’ key (V by default).
I was always hitting it by mistake, so I remapped it over to the right hand side of the keyboard out of the way.
I had the same thought, but they still have the targetting dot onscreen - it’s been a while since I accidentally hit ‘v’, but I thought it got rid of the targetting dot. If I’m right (which is only a maybe…) then that would mean the cause is something else.
Have you tried viewing in first person? I didn’t watch the whole video as it was kinda dark, so I can’t say for certain if you did. Anyway, that will usually fix stuff like that.

Why do i have to find different ways to fix stuff that shouldnt happened in the first place, i fixed it with using tool to mine a stone. After attempting other things to fix it, like pressing WASD in different combinations, roll, pulling out the weapon, asking in chat for help… it took me a while.
I agree… however, I was merely suggesting it as help to bypass the issue in the future. There’s a number of bugs that can occur or do occur in this game. We should definitely report them. However sometimes we have to suffer through them and knowing how to bypass them will help so you can keep playing the game in the meantime.
It is frustrating but as @jmk1999 summed up, bugs take time to fix. We as players can only suggest ‘workarounds’ so we can all continue playing with as little interruption (from the effects of bugs) as possible. Not ideal I know but we are in the lap of the Gods (the Dev’s).
I am getting this in spades on solo offline exiles map for ps4.
It’s happening a lot since that last update.
Seems if i do just about anything while building or climbing my character will get stuck facing some direction.
Yes my character is still able to move, just not turn.
I usually just re-set my character by equipping a bow.
It’s an old bug, but it has gotten worse since that last patch no doubt about it.
