Officials are borderline unplayable. The lag is awful, NPCs teleport, players teleport. Fix your servers after dog5hit update before your game dies again.
Best move would be to cut on the insane number of empty servers and invest into quality.

Totally agree.
Hopefully they fix it fast.
My friend installed Conan after 2 years, saw teleporting crocodiles on Noob river and immediately quit the game.
Die again? Again? The game never died in the first place. Just most people have been playing on private servers. Even before the update, this game was still more popular than Dune.
was an average of 5k players … If they actually fixed the bugs and issues the numbers would go up no doubt, The day of update numbers were 15k plus and i bet a majority of them uninstalled after seeing the problems.
Actually, today hit over 40K…
Game looks amazing.
Runs like crap most of the time, especially when there are more than 10 people on a server.
Thralls disappearing and lag spikes that last 30-45 secs is pretty brutal right now.
Also I wanted to give some input on the “new” inventory system. I think it was a bad idea to allow you to pull from your storage while crafting. I have no idea how much of what i’m crafting half the time. There are other issues with it too like using things you didn’t want to by accident.
Also lighting issues, which were mentioned before here in the forums.
Servers are a definite problem, but they’re under investigation from all three companies involved (GPortal, Funcom and Inflexion), all trying to solve the issues as fast as possible - because they want the launch week to go as well as it can (and they’re closing in on daily player counts that haven’t been seen since the game originally launched, so they really want to beat that, and best chance is if they can fix the server problems).
If you want to avoid pulling from storage there’s a couple of options -
in each storage (and bench) inventory screen, at the top right is a gear wheel icon - click that and you can exempt that storage from being drawn from.
If you select craft many, the amount it defaults to on the slider is the maximium it can craft with what is currently in that bench. If you slide it up from that, it starts drawing from other sources.
I actually quite like the new inventory crafting system - i didn’t think I would, but as you get to grips with how it works, it can add convenience, without having to cause the problems it seems like it would at first.
(Yep, the lighting needs some work…)
Aha, thanks for the tips. I will definitely be doing that. I kinda liked it at first, but then noticed people were crafting things we had saved for other stuff.
Well if you took the time to read properly you would see i said it went from an average of 5k to 15k on the day of the update at the time i checked steam charts ![]()

Either way i can guarentee a bunch of people logged off after the performance …
Oh I did clearly read that. And then I read the wildly absurd assumption you made:
To which I pointed out that if the majority of that 15k uninstalled it would be HIGHLY IMPROBABLY that we would currently be over 42K. So yes, I most assuredly did read what you wrote, I just pointed out how you were completely and utterly wrong. Perhaps you should take your own advise and learn how to read. ![]()
Sorry , I meant a good portion of new players who have a broken first impression probably left / uninstalled as I have seen in countless post
The update would have been even bigger for attracting and keeping new players if it performed as intended.
So I’m sure it had an impact to some extent
Either way the numbers are way above the average 5k which is great but I imagine it wont last long until they fix it .
I appreciate the clarification. Still the numbers would imply that a great deal of them have remained.
Now, I would say that the issue DOES need to be address. But posting easily falsifiable information is not the way to do it. ![]()
Everytime you bring some patch or something new in game. You shit on our gameplay quality. Yet people joining to see whats going on finding a trash game because of lag bug or glitches. Seriously i play since beginning and love this game but i cant even convince myself to play. All of my friends are refusing to play i cant blame em.
Fix the damn Lag issue on the official Servers. It let you so called Game Developers looking like amateurs.
I am so tired to lose my Thralls or my Stuff cause your server disconnecting in the worst moment ever. If you can’t handle the now 300 ping limit it’s maybe time to think about to get rid of it.
Server #1502 I play on, when trying to join and the server being at 17 players OUT OF 40 SLOTS! The ping is past 300+. This is DISGUSTING on "Fun"coms part… PUBLIC SERVERS are UNPLAYABLE with these DISCOUNT servers. Playing with around 10 people or less there’s popcorning NPCs, enemies teleport all around while fighting, and when running around with others they are popcorning everywhere. More than 5 people in one spot crashes the whole server… this is so wild and stupid. Even Private GPortal servers are this way as well. So it has nothing to do with people’s “hardware” or “internet” or “verifying the integrity of game files” or whatever other excuse people from any side comes up with.
Funcom you’ve MADE MILLIONS from us. Enough with worrying about graphics updates, bazaar items added, or cosmetic DLCs for right now. Get better servers and optimize the game.
