Unable to change screen resolution

Screen resolution won’t change.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Go into settings and turn nameplates off
  2. Screen resolution changes to windowed and will not go back to any other setting unless reset to default which is full screen.

I play with windowed default and i’m unable to change back to that setting. It keeps kicking me back to full screened or windowed without the pop up verifying the change to settings.

You should be able to solve the issue with ini edit.

Go to
“steam library with conan”\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

and open GameUserSettings.ini with notepad. You want to change these numbers:

FullscreenMode=1
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=1
PreferredFullscreenMode=1

Fullscreen is 0, borderless is 1 and windowed is 2.

We’re aware of this issue and it has been fixed internally. It will come out in a hotfix soon.
