Video settings wont change

I recently reinstalled Conan after and extended break, looking forward to exploring the new age of war chapter. Everything loaded fine. However, the screen resolution is set to 1500 and something and will not reset to 1080.

To add to this, I’ve tried to change to any other picture mode, be that windowed full screen, windowed, or full screen.

It shows on the settings screen that the changes where made, but it doesnt actually do anything.

I can go back to the main menu and then back into settings, it shows that the changes i made are still there, but the game itself is still in the weird resulotion.

I went to the .ini file and it shows 1080 as the resolution.

Ill reboot the game and it all reverts as if i never changed anything…

Help! 1800 hours on CE, i need my game back! AoW looks awesome and i can’t wait to try it!

Thank you for your report. Please follow the steps to verify your game files:

  1. Open Steam
  2. In Library, click with the right button on the game and select “Properties”
  3. Select the Installed files
  4. Select Verify integrity of game files….
