Unable to Favorite a Server in the Online Server Browser

I have been playing on an online server for a good long while.
At one time I had marked it as a Favorite, and the setting remained.
I accidentally clicked upon Unfavorite and then joined the server.
Subsequently I tried to re-add it as a Favorite. The user interface holds the Star icon until I join the server.
If I revisit the server list, the server is NOT listed as a Favorite, offering me the option to Favorite it each and every time.
If I Favorite the server, then click back to the main menu and re-enter the server list, the server remains not set as a Favorite.
No combination of any Favorite selection sequence will let me make that value stick.

Where can I modify this value in the game preferences, manually?

Steps to reproduce:

  • Add a server as a Favorite
  • Remove the server as a Favorite
  • Add the server as a Favorite once more
  • Exit to the Main Menu
  • View the list of online servers, if the bug is happening, the previous server will NOT be a Favorite
  • From that point on, you can not re-add it as a Favorite

I’m experiencing the same thing on a private, dedicated unmodded server.

Jim2 here,

Same issue on a private unmodded server as well. Workaround is that your last connected server will be the first loaded one, so you can still find it. Otherwise, you can filter by level as well to find it again.

This might be something different, but the last server I’ve played will not show the favorite star.
but if I select “show favorites” it will still be one of the severs shown, and if I log onto a different server the previous servers star will return, and the latest servers star will be gone.

Could this be what you are experiencing?
Do all your Favorites appear if you select Show Favorites?
