Saving a Favorite Server Does Not Work

Game mode: Online private
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: RPvP
Region: North America

I’ve been playing for just over a year now, and I play on basically one server. I also recently had to reinstall STEAM, and Conan of course, and prior to the reinstall, the last server I played on would always show up in my list, albiet without the favorites star filled in. It became habit to just click favorite and then Join and I’d just shake my head and sigh at #JustFuncomThings. But I’d get in to my server no problem, so no big deal.

AFTER the reinstall however, My server no longer shows in the list. Period. Cannot save a Favorite server to save my life. You’d think this is a no-brainer to have as a critical feature for players to get to the server communities they are a part of, but I’m seeing reports of this dating back 2 years and we still don’t ahve this as a Quality of Life fix?

PLEASE… can we get this favorites things to actually work? I mean, I know I’m not a programmer, but I’d think, I click that star next to the server and the system would add that IP to a ini file or something, and autopopulate that in the server listings first.

And yes, I’ve tried the dropdown in the server list. History gives me two servers I’ve never seen before, and favorites remains empty.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.Start Conan
2.Go to Online play
3.If I’m lucky, I can search for my server and find it int he list, and click favorite. Usually cannot.
4.Direct connect to server since I have the IP
5. Can exit to menu and MAYBE find the server in my list as most recent, (40% of the time-ish) and click favorite.
6. Exit game
7. Restart game
8. Go to online play.
9. Watch as no server history is displayed and new servers populate the list
10. Cry as I have to hunt down the IP and direct connect yet again…

Funcom:

How about fixing this issue, please?
