Unable to Find Favorite Server

Recently started playing again after 3 months and I am not able to find any favorite servers nor any servers under history. I have added the server in my Steam Favorites, which does correctly list the server name, ping, and current players online. However in game, it cannot see the server under favorites. I have added a +connect launch parameter and it will not connect to the server. The only option available to me is to use the Direct Connect option within the game every time I want to connect. Gets very tiresome to have to type in the IP and port every time I want to play.

This used to work every time. Why is it not working now and what can be done to fix it?

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Add server to Steam Favorites
  2. Launch Game
  3. Click on Play Online
  4. Sort by Favorites
  5. Observe no Servers listed under Favorites
  6. Connect to the server with Direct Connect
  7. Log out
  8. Return to the Play Online screen
  9. Click on History
  10. Observer no servers listed under History

Sory, Phaed, favorites are broken for the time being. TLDR: Click Level and those servers you have characters on with be on the top. This is a workaround giving the devs time to properly fix it. Give it time, please.

TL: Marking a server Favorite should store the IP and name locally and poll that IP first so it pops up quickly, then look through all the other servers to get a list. Since it is so long, that takes a while. An easy way to look at that is the Favorites are not being polled first and it takes a long time to find them. Additionally, they are buried in a few thousand name list. Hard to find, to say the least and I am sure a fix is in the works.

Try the above and let us know if that works. If not, we may have to go in a different direction. Good luck !

Steam favorites may not work but the in-game favorites work for me:
