Unable to mine, or harvest. Game breaking bug

Problem: harvesting yielding no results
Region: US PVE

After about 3 hours of mining, cutting down trees, and building, the game stopped giving any items from any type of gathering. This proceeded even after a reboot.

I dont know if its related, but I had just placed a wooden sign and left a message on it.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Play for a long time.
  2. Mine, cut down trees, and build a ton.
  3. Place a sign and leave a message
  4. Go watch new episodes of Duck Tails after not being able to harvest.
