After summoning a god and romping around for the minute, when you revert back to player form I am paralyzed and unable to move, roll, or do anything until I am killed. I have tested this out so far as Mitra and Ymir and both yield the same result.
Edit: further testing reveals all gods do this and death only fixes it half the time. Alt tabbing for several minutes also fixes it
Is this on SinglePlayer? I have a fully upgraded shrine on the testlive server. I’d need some time to farm the tokens, but I could check the behavior on server.
For several dozen Avatar summons, I got stuck only once. I couldn’t repeat it, so I didn’t report it. 
Once the camera got stuck (I kept looking lower and lower), but I could move my character. This happened after the end of Yog’s summoning. And as before I could not repeat it. 
Note: Singlaplayer.
Local Co-Op. I was testing some things out and found this out the hard way. Got stuck every time I called a god
Since I’ve never used avatars before at all, I thought I’d do a dry run and went to SinglePlayer first. I spawned in one of each summoning token. I was able to move after each one finished, except for Set. The grame crashed while he was half way through his sequence. My hardware is starting to show its age, and crashes happen to me sometimes when the game is trying to load too much of the world at once. I suspect that was the case here.
I’ll still give it a go on the official server, but I have to find a Mitra arch priest and I’ll have to collect the necessary zeal tokens first. So it’ll be a while before I can check there.
Side note, avatars are really freakin cool!
