I have a circular tower where the first floor is 4 walls high, my Pleasure Palace of Derketo was on the second floor. Upon upgrading the Pleasure Palace, random containers on the first floor were destroyed - a few chests, carpenter’s bench, torturer’s bench, etc. These structures were nowhere near the Palace, they weren’t even above the first wall. The Palace was centered and the containers were along the walls, so they weren’t even directly below the Palace.
It’s no big deal, just wanted to report some weirdness.
