URGENT BUG! Volcano boss crash

The conan trapezohedron boss in the volcano crashes the server. just went to fight him and it seems after he is done summoning the illusions of minion lizards and starts to stand up he multiplies himself too and causes the server to crash. The server just crashed on us. server 1931

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.fight last volcano boss
2.kill his minions
3.as he stands up from his throne he multiplies
4.server crashes

This is happening on our (private, no mods) server as well. The error log is not very helful, but the bug happens exactly as described by OP.

This is an old bug that was once fixed. Looks like it somehow got reintroduced :frowning: Least there’s already a fix for it though

Hi yes, I would like to add that this bug is happening on my PS4 as well. I’m on a private server, with no mods. Right after I finish off the purple minions, the boss stands up, and then the game crashes. I sent two error reports, so maybe that helps too. Glad to see this issue being addressed, thank you all.

We had the same problem yesterday on official server 1080 (PvP).
A friend of mine, who was with me said, for him it looked like the boss is there more than one time and all of them are standing up. BTW. It first gets laggy as hell for around 20 seconds or so and then the server crashes.

Wich also might be related (please correct me if not): The Forge there also seems to be there more than one time. Try to click it after putton obsidian and steel in it. Sometimes it is hard to “get the right forge” and you just get empty ones. You can also observe that when hovering the forge. At some parts your stuff will be in and on some parts it will be empty. But don’t think when you see it while hovering you will get “the right forge”.

If it’s not part of the same problem, I can open another topic. But for now I’ll monitor this one and wait for a fix for this. :wink:

Better fix this soon or people are going to be using this big to grief the server… “Hey guys, our base is getting raided… Someone go to the volcano boss and crash the server until raid time is over!”
