Vegetation clipping through foundations

I don’t get it, I use foundations instead of ceilings to avoid this kind of fugliness, but them weeds are clipping, and I am flabbergasted.

I was told to use a double foundation. What worked for me was to go to settings, video, and set foliage quality to low.
