Vertical Elevator "Unable to find valid end location" in Single Player

Bug Description:

When trying to place a vertical elevator, I have to build 9 blocks high in order to place it. I receive the error “Unable to find a valid end location”. Once I have build the 9th level high then I can place elevators as short as between two foundations or all the way down to the bottom of the 9 levels.

Bug Reproduction:

This happens in multiple places, have personally tried in D10 and G4. I cannot place a vertical elevator unless I’m 9 or higher foundations up from the ground. Horizontal elevators do not have this issue.

I first thought that perhaps my mods were causing it, so I turned them all off and the issue remains. There are some reported issues of this from 2021 and 2022 in the bug report forum that popped up. Can’t say I’ve tried to build in these particular locations prior to the latest updates, trying new base locations with this run.

Wanted to add here that when I was viewing the other posts that were this issue most seemed to be back in 2021/2022 when I first started playing Conan. So I thought maybe it was old bad data. I uninstalled through steam, but then also went into my Steamapp folder and fully deleted my conan folder (after backing up my saved folder).

Restarted, and then reinstalled. Used the same save file I had before and it’s the same, unfortunately.
