186 was the best I could get last night. Went and played a private, came back, 53. Have not seen below 140 in days.
This morning, right back into the 160s
Since the big update all official servers have been well over 140 ping for me and couldnt log onto my server for over a week, I lost everything because of this!! The only server I can play on now are the no ping limit ones. 1 week wipes and lvl 80 cap with no end game and constant bugs was enough for me to give up and move onto a new game.
Common problem specially on PVE servers,
south-american examples where it happens:
1977 / 1975
(1977 much worse, impossible to play, sad, very sad place
every night you go crazy with the lag, i gave upā¦)
also its nice to say that i never seen it happening at PVP servers,
and i have an thousand hours of gameplay,
so lets think a little bit hereā¦
at those PVE servers where it happens the maps are fully of buildings,
something that PVP servers havent,
maybe this makes the servers heavier?
if yes (and probably thats it), shouldnt it be another reason for limiting foundations somehow , or maybe accelerating decays up to N foundations exponentially ??
Same here. Here is a good example. Max ping for this server is 140. And then I need to wait for the servers to load so I can get the refresh button or I have to exit the whole game and log back in. Its crazy. Was not like this before they connected Funcom Services.
As an update, and possibly because itās a well deserved āSummer Breakā for many offices (including Funcom), but my ping rates improved to between 65 and 85 now. This changed a day or so after this ticket was logged. Because of the āUpdate debacleā and delays and character resets, a number of players did stop playing and so that could be a part too - I have no idea.
Iād recommend fellow admins with the same issues bounce their server and check ping rates before any other player log on and then monitor as more players join and see how ping is affected?
(tech-logic certainly suggests the double-id check and ip checks done during gameplay per player, whilst they play, will be a āthingā and will affect connection loading. Only Funcom can really say. Game is not unplayable, but on servers with lots of concurrent players I imagine itās a massive issue)
We have been locked out of the game for days, ping is hovering between 141 and 144, some times as high as 180s.
After restarting the game 11 times and not getting a 140 or less. We just give up.
Thatās where I was before I rented a private server. Which goes wonky too, but I can restart it myself and problem solved. I donāt remember having problems like this the last time I played back in September.
I have been locked out for CE for almost 4 weeks now, and I didnāt have a problem from the big update until then, I played fine with no issues. First week was pings over 200, second and third week it was canāt play without internet message or canāt connect to FLS, this past week itās canāt connect to steam services (and I have this one on live stream) even tho I was online on steam and playing another game thru steam. And today is back to pings over 300ā¦
I never had a ping over 70 on the PvE server I play. I donāt know how much I can take either but the more investment I put on that other game, the less I care about this one, thatās all I got to say. Something is making all servers have weird ping indicators on the select screen, which donāt match the actual ping once you log in, I wonder what kind of traffic back and forward is causing thisā¦
All this from bandwith hogs like FLS.
One way that it may be possible to get the direct connect address for a server is going to Google and typing in ābattlemetrics Conan exiles 1977ā replacing 1977 with your server number of course.
For me this brings up a link that shows 1977ās address to be 92.38.151.72:28000
Have to use Google as battlemetrics will no longer load the server info on itās own. Not for me anyway.

Yeah, I have been there too. I did find under the filter, if I just filter official servers only and then type in my server number it only takes about five min to load all the servers then the Refresh button appears and I am able to refresh, I usually just get up and get a drink or something to let it do its thing. Since doing this, I think there have only a few times where I had to refresh more then 1x. Ether way, it sucks that you even have to go through this just to play the game.
On another note, how do we alert Funcom on this issue. Do they read all of these post and discussions and create tickets?
We did figure to get in and out of the game up to 3 times, then the ping drops to the high 90s
As long as I can access my toon once a week to stop decay, really dont care much bashing ports to get in.
