Weapons/Tools vanishing/reappearing on mount

Bug Description:

I’ve had tools and throwing axes vanish from my mount. Until recently I didn’t have video evidence but what I believe is happening is items will vanish from my mount and, if I wait, they may reappear but it is possible for me to put something in the space the tool/weapon used to be, overwriting it. I’ve had a full set of star metal tools, steel truncheons, and throwing axes vanish like this. I have not seen weapon or armor repair kits vanish. This has been observed in single player in Siptah and Online on a private server in the base game.

Expected Behavior:

Horses don’t eat my tools.

Steps to Reproduce:

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Fill mount’s inventory. Include tools, weapons, etc.
  2. Travel around doing various tasks, checking mount’s inventory from time to time

I had this happen to me the other night. My lance went ‘missing’. I actually found out it was just invisible as I could not fill up all slots on my mount. Logged out, logged back in, lance appeared.

I don’t know if I was having the same bug as you, but that’s what happened to me.

Also, there is STILL a random inventory bug that has to do with using ‘loot all’ on bags on the ground. For some reason this mechanic will randomly make some items not appear in your inventory/go invisible. Your weight/encumbrance still reflects the items there, but they aren’t visible. Log out, log in, voila. This bug has been around a long time and drives me nuts.

Anyways, adding onto your post because I would love to see some traction from Funcom on these inventory bugs.
