Hi. Haven’t played in a while but jumped in recently after the Age of War 3 update.
What happened to the combat? I play Mace and Shield and I feels terrible now. I feel like I am always stuck. And in fact sometimes I am stuck backwards. I constantly miss the enemies and they seem to instantly attack me no matter what direction they are looking. I even see enemies walking backwards. I hope this is just a bug. It is not fun anymore. Combat was one of my favorite things in Exiles. Thank you.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the unannounced change to combat in Age of War Chapter 3. But don’t worry. People love it! You’ll adapt and get good and whatever. 
In any case, I’m sure there will be plenty of people along shortly to tell you how it’s not a bug and how it really makes combat challenging now.

I’ve been thinking about something. If a good number of people apparently don’t eve know that combat has been changed but many others do notice the change and don’t like it, wouldn’t it be easy enough to just revert back to how it was in Chapter 2? I mean, the people who didn’t notice a change in the first place wouldn’t know anything had changed back, but the others sure would appreciate it.

There was a forum poll and Wak also had a poll on his youtube. Which is all cute and stuff but uh… I hope no on actually expects it to do anything.
Right here on the forum, 88% want the old system back.
