Far be it from me to tell anyone how to spend their money… but I did about 10 minutes of grinding XP per day and the three weekly challenges and I hit 60 last night, with 1.5 days left for challenges to reset.
So you can do it in a week with minimal time investment even if you don’t do the three challenges and just queue up a bunch of crafts. With the current system there really is nothing to complain about.
With the old system, to do it before you saved up several days of 10x bonus multipliers was a lot more tedious than it is now.
BTW if you want to complain about something, complain about the miserable drop rate of Gnarled Fangs - even from the bosses.
Most casual players will not even come close to unlocking the expensive items (1000 fangs, lol), much less all of them.
The once-nightly were-hyena drops 2-3 on average, and the champions were dropping around 10-15. You need almost 4000 fangs to unlock everything, so it just doesn’t add up.
Sure, many veterans will just grind it out, but the average casual player - especially if they are sharing boss fangs with clanmates - will be lucky to unlock a couple of things before the end of the chapter.
Contrast this to how certain loot like Perfected Paddings are dropping like candy now and I honestly don’t understand WTF the Funcom team in charge of balance/progression is thinking. I’m convinced that none of them actually play the game.

I found that if set up a couple thousand steel bars to be made into reinforcements, and then torn down again, that is rather efficient.

Yes, it’s 7.5 level for the weekly challenges only. BUT you also inevitably get the “passive” exp when you kill those world bosses or whatever. Last week I got a total of nine levels from this only.
Maybe 6 weeks is a bit optimistic if you really take the effort of doing nothing but the challenges.

Agreed, at least not on standard settings.
As we’ve seen in the live stream, ADMIN SPAWN appears to be their preferred mode.
I admin spawn nothing- i played 53 levels of official servers only and the last 7 level were on a private server i dont own. SO no admin there either.
I just know this game inside out and stay updated when the Devs update the game.
Nothing more.
They are discussing the devs.

But the comment was not about you, it was about the livestream where admin mode was on full display and gameplay knowledge was not.

They arent going to login to accounts they play on - i wouldnt either.
Id be using ADMIN to spawn everything in for the public too.
