i stopped gaining xp, today…
i did the 3 challenges yesterday and took me to level 10, since yesterday and today i have gained 9 more levels, by playing the game, but i am at a point where i no longer getting any more XP…
if there is a cap , can someone explain how that works?

It seems like there is a cap that expands incrementally 8 levels after a certain amount of time has passed. Yesterday it was 16.5, this morning I was able to get to 24.5
hmm i am capped at level 19… its not moving anymore, … maybe i do not udnerstand what you tried to say? should cap be the same for everyone?
It’s absolutely scummy and disgusting that they added a level cap and completely nerfed the way BP is done. No, it won’t cause people to buy Dune, it’ll cause the opposite, that people will never buy a single Funcom game ever again
hmm maybe it has to do with keeping buying levels at BP viable?
cant think of any other reason why they would cap it.
What I cant figure out is why didnt they tell about it. This sort of stuff gets revealed inevitably and will just make them look scummy if its intentional.
we will never know, i do not expect any official response to this type of questions.
will like to fully understrand how the cap works, what are the limits, if someone can shed light, please do.

Yeah as more people are getting capped at random levels I have no idea. Two other people are matched with me at the same level but we also did it at the same time.
Seems to be 14,000BPXP per… whatever time frame. Might be 24 hours. Challenges don’t appear to count against it. But I didn’t try to do the challenges after the cap. Anyone want to be a guinea pig on that one?
If not, then the cap is 16,500 per time period.
its a shame mr funcom does not provide that information. i believe it is important for people to know such information.

I’ve got my weeklies done. Less then 2 hours. If you’re patient you can set there and watch your XP go up up, click, there’s 1 more.
What action seems to net the most XP? Would yo say mining, building or killing?
red mother, gives 85 per kill
you can… go to single player, have instant respawn, set your damage to x10 , and thrall damage to x10,. summon a couple of arena champion as companion,
each dragon is dead in less than 10 second you need to kill it 12 times for a level
if there is anything quicker please let me know

Cheesing xp in SP, getting to level 60 in a few hours at most to avoid spending money on the new system.
Company didnt meet the profitability of new feature.

Cap the amount of xp so the only way to accomplish quick level max (exploitimg some peoples OCD on getting everything done asap) is by buying 3 of the most expensive level boosters for 15 levels at a time.

Here’s probably the reason…in the beginning, they didn’t care if you scammed the system. You paid and if you want to use so to shoot up to complete, sobeit. Then the data comes in that this is exactly what is going on along with serial refreshing. Well time to drop the engagement bomb because people are scamm the system and being a detriment to those playing an we aren’t even seeing the hour numbers because those folks aren’t playing either. So with that, we changed BP so you have to start playing the game.
Then be transparent about the changes. They’ve always proudly discussed how friendly their BP approach is. Until it now isn’t and not a peep.
I’m not serial refreshing, I’m doing my weeklies 
So I had maybe the opposite problem just now?
I did a purge. I saw a notification that I gained a BP level. I tried to click it during the purge. I couldn’t redeem it. Still can’t. BUT, after I tried, I gained a level every single time I got xp during the purge. Character levels. I gained over 40 levels. :o
Crafting Star Metal Tier weapons. Took about a minute to go from 2500 to 16,500 (level 2 to 16). I’m sure there is even faster (and cheaper) methods however.
what weapon did you crafter? and how much experience you got from it?
