What's your favourite building set, and why?

No… we build solely on official PlayStation servers. All vanilla assets and DLC. However, thanks for the compliments! We’re currently working on rebuilding and relocating our main EL base. What you see in those screens is our Siptah base.

While maybe not too rocky, I’ve found the best locations on EL are on Noob River.

Which set? Depends on my fancy at the time and whatever pops in my head. It lasts for about 3 months and then I’m off to go to another idea. However I have noticed I trend so in order of my urges after getting bored with whatever I work on

Treehouse foundation with insulated wood (or nemedian) tiles and khitan walls in the jungle

Stormglass in or on the side of the volcano.

Turanian with accents from others

But like others it’s mostly I run into a piece of geography that is missing a obvious structure

By Crom, you build nice houses. Impressive!

@Marylambs and I do them. I can’t take all the credit. She does a lot of the initial design on many of the more medieval styles and I fine tune them and jazz them up so they’re more lifelike. That Greek villa was mostly my design, as was this longhouse design in the highlands. The key to making better builds is also in mixing up the sets. Too often people get stuck in one or two sets and don’t try to utilize everything they have. Also, just because you have a set doesn’t mean you need to use it (i.e. a Greek set is horrible for many of my builds).

Yeah that’s a really good spot aesthetically, near the noob river. We play co-op mode, so it can get tedious since it’s a bit far from many advanced resources (and we’re tethered), but we might transfer to a server at some point.

Damn good buildings. The attention to detail, adding those vines to merge with the vegetation, or fitting darker building pieces with the dark structure in the background. Also realistic and sensible layouts, lighting and placeables. Great stuff!

@stelagel It definitely has a lot of stuff. I like weapons and mounts from this one, but building pieces and armours from “Blood and Sand” pack.

The reason i loved to participate on American official servers rather than European was the builds. But between pvp and pve servers you cannot imagine who wins . You have to see it to believe it.

My favorite is Nemedian I like the old world look and feeling it invokes.
Stormglass is a close second, I just like the esthetic.

“The old world look”, exactly that. You can use Nemedian to make anything from realistic medieval village walls and guard towers to a thorough castle.

Stormglass, but only after eventually finally managing to find the Stormglass Expansion pack on sale in the Bazaar. Those building expansion packs need to come up at least once a week each if not always be available for purchase.

Before that, Nemedian.

Stormglass and Nemedian tie for my favorite.
Stable and frontier get honorable mentions for having pieces that look so good mixed with other sets.
