When is the lag on server's going to be addressed?

For months and months now the game has been unplayable at raid times on PvP servers, one of the major causes is a bug that has been in the game since Age of War chapter 1 & that’s the infinite fire burning bug. It’s incredibly taxing on the server performance and gradually gets worse as the raid time goes on and more and more explosions go off reaching upwards of 1k ping.

Another major issue I think is the constant addition of new items through the bazaar / battlepass that never seem to be optimized properly. I know it’s weird to see a complaint about a game getting too much content but when you add so much stuff to an already overloaded and outdated engine to the point of it being unplayable, that’s where the content being added should be stopped or atleast added but optimised first.

This is all from a PvP perspective so I’d like to know if it’s a problem also in PvE if anyone here can chime in and give their view on it but for PvP atleast it’s 100% unplayable.

I’ve been playing this game since early access and I can tell you that I’ve never in all these 7+ years seen servers perform to an acceptable degree. Even when the devs did I a livechat for some age of sorcery release they kept getting disconnected from their own server. I don’t know how you could have the willpower to play PvP when everything is so unreliable but kudos to you man

Now regarding this issue, could you please let us know on what official server you’ve encountered this issue?
In the meantime I’ve passed this information over to the rest of the team for further investigation.

I’ve not touched an official server in months if not years I won’t lie @Dana but from what I’ve seen it’s a globally affected problem across all PvP servers, I don’t know exactly what triggers it but when bombs are detonated they leave behind fire that just doesn’t extinguish for hours on end.
As for the overloaded engine, I don’t actually have proof this is even an issue but it just seems like the most obvious explanation as to why the lags happen since it was all peachy perfect beforehand.

Fixing player reported issues is not on the Funcom agenda.
