Why are the seeds for the berries different color than the berries / pulp?

This has been bugging me for quite some time now. Highland Berry Bush Seeds are blue, the berries are red, and their pulp is red. Desert Berry Bush Seeds are red, but their berries and pulp are blue. Would it not make more sense for the seeds to be the same color as the berries/pulp?

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1. Plant some blue seeds
2. Grow red fruit
3. Smoosh into red pulp

Was first reported about a year ago.

A couple of bugs

Game mode: Singleplayer Problem: Bug Purge update frequency setting works opposite of what tooltip describes journey steps “throw orb” and “earn a perk” do not trigger Fighter thralls (archers) randomly attack/do not attack nearby non-aggressive wildlife (shaleback mothers) and enemies (crocs, purge npc’s). npc’s and mobs in volcano area spawn after long delay (a minute or so) berry juice has no cooling effect color of berries and berry seeds is mixed up (red/blue) Step…

We are aware that lists are fun but it makes it very hard to find specific issues and posts related only to that specific problem.
