I’d not put it as blame the players not the company, so much as decentralized anonymous policing by the people affected. If people who play on a given server are okay with it and no one reports, well, time can be potentially spent elsewhere. The fact that the servers are a free service provided does carry a lot of weight compared to all the single player/private server customers who dont require any policing at all. You ‘d much rather spend your budget making new content and attracting new customers than hiring more people to police a subset.

No, I don’t. Where the hell did I say anything like that?
Unless you consider being exempt from TOS to be some kind of a “fix”. It’s not.
Good luck making anyone believe that. The only thing that’s “breaking” “your” game are shіtty G-portal servers, and guess what? They’re “breaking” our game too.
Everything else is just some vague appeal for sympathy and request to be treated as a special case.

Yes, you have created far too deep of a division to see beyond. Other people, however, pvpers, pvers, pve-cers and rpers on the other hand have not made such massive divisions and can still see well beyond such divisions. So if you are unable to see beyond the divisions that you yourself have created, then perhaps it may be best that you move on. OR, better yet, perhaps is would be better that you take some time to reflect on what exactly the cause of this division is.
You literally can play the game. You CHOSE to play it in a way that causes issues though. And that is not a personal you, but a collective you. You chose to undermesh. You chose to body vault. You chose to bomb dupe. You chose to sky base. You chose to build in ways that have caused so many issues that the devs have had to change the way that fence foundations work among other issues. That is not on pve or pve-c players nor is it on rpers. Stop crying about everyone else spoiling things for you. You are reaping what you have sown, learn to deal with it.
As far as the ToS issues, there are plenty of people on PvE servers and PvE-C servers who have been suspended and or banned and have had their bases wiped because they were in violation. This is not exclusive to one play style no matter how much you wish to believe that it is. So what is the big difference? The vast majority of people crying about it are from one play style cry that it’s all the fault of hackers. That’s a pretty big conspiracy theory there. Might as well blame aliens while y’all are at it.

I don’t think it’s pvp land claim that’s the issue but the spam reporting is the issue on pvp. The other servers don’t nearly have the amount of reports the pvp side has.
I can attest to this. A cylindrical treehouse on Siptah the width of a map room has 3 floors (one roof and 2x 2 layer high walled rooms can house all of the benches and that’s removing the center be cause a tree trunk is there.

No you can play, but not just the way you wanted to with the older means of stopping offlining and such. Granted there is a significant amount of issues that I wouldn’t hold it against anyone for dropping pvp (offlining, sky bases, ceiling exploits). It’s gotten to be that the easiest way to pvp is to simply not and cheese your way to victory.

well honestly i made my point and shared what i saw on pvp server on which i play for 5 years and still have the same thinking, i dont like to argue for argue and there is no point to re say what i said, so well we will simply not be agree on the subject where we both expressed our point of view.
I just hope that what i saw happening recently in a prioritization of a hacking case that was handle very quickly by zendesk is the real mood at fc Hq admin and that they do specialization admin between pve and pvp server.
it’s not what i saw, half of pvp players are kind of pve players that like to defend their base, and like the sense danger to lost all if they did an error, 20% are newbies discovering the game, 20% are people that like to blow, 10% are people that like to blow and use hack or all glitch or whatever to totally destroy a server.
so yes it’s true that a part of players enter in what you describe; but a extreme minority.
but on pvp server i have rarely encountered case of building abuse or land claim that create a problem for other players or server. I mean if i take my last month of play on pvp servers, and one of servers on which i was went to 30 players for 1 month, problem i encountered in my gameplay was
- people using glitch/bug to enter base and bomb from inside
- disconnection due to the golem bug (not fun to be disconnect 30 time while tryung to open a base)
- building of skybase
- building of undermesh skybase
- bugged mace of siptah doing 800 damage
- abuse with speedhacking
and i don’t say that pvp players need to be free to do whatever they want, but in a mode of game where the goal is mainly to blow base or defend base, hem, bases are simply the goal of interest of the game, which mean no base to raid ?, no interest to play on server.and a base with one door is neither an interesting base to raid, and all in game system, and the fact than the game allow to produce insane amount of bomb dailly is done for raiding big, and not little base.
I agree. But people who play on official servers not necessarily play there because they are free. They play there because there are no Admins and the “competition is clean”.
We all know that the game “plays” with the memory limits some time now, so when a new content comes we will have unexpected behavior. So even if the new content is awesome, the behavior of the game will be “broken” and it will push away the new players.
Three days ago i went with a new player to the abysmal boss, the recipe was invisible, i get used to it, so i know where this invisible recipe is, but he couldn’t find it and he died in the effort because the acid of the pool started filling again.
Two days now he didn’t show up
.
Is it on the server provider?
Is it on how heavy things have become?
Is it how people behave on the server?
Is it on the necessity of the content?
Is it…?
I don’t know how many is it i can ask, the list is big!
What i know is that when new people will arrive in this game they will check fps and they’ll go disappointed. Then they will play the game and they will find several “tiny” annoying bugs. At the time they will play they’ll endure disconnections…
I am not salty my friend Darth neither i try to say or create something more that this conversation, but how new content will bring new costumers when the base is not able to keep them?
Here in this forum we are all lovers with this game, we got married with it so we close our eyes to details and keep loving and supporting it. There are thousands out of this forum that do the same.
We are no new players my friend, we are the regulars of it and we are the only ones at the end that keep playing it and support it. We need new players, all of us, both the company and us.
But if a new player will come the first online experience may be official server, then what? How do we keep this costumer?

This one wishes they could find battle between clans with as much spirit on official PvP servers as they are seeing in this thread between PvP and PvE camps.
Also, this one is now out of popcorn.
A tragedy as great as can be caused by this sort of exchange.
