Wight Horse killed in The Sinkhole (video)

Basic Info:

Platform: PlayStation 5 (Digital Edition)
Issue Type: Gameplay
Game Mode: Online Official
Server Type: PvE
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: 4521

Bug Description:

When logging out while porting from map to The Sinkhole obelisk the horse will spawn in the arena. When I logged back in, the horse was dead in the bottom of The Sinkhole (killed by a skeleton archer, according to log).

Bug Reproduction:

I was travelling with two Thralls and one horse, from a map I attempted to travel to The Sinkhole obelisk, lost connection before the zone loaded, and when I logged back in the two Thralls were back to their original position but the horse was dead, killed in The Sinkhole. Here is the video showing the moment when I logged back in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7-RnTkXDfs

Horses use to run away, now they can get attacked easily. It’s pretty annoying. Sure, they run away sometimes, but the problem is that they will often run into the battle or nearby due to the follower attack command. I like the idea of being able to command your horse, but maybe it could be a different button or button combination. I almost lost my level 20 horse to a sand reaper queen that kept poisoning it.

\Welp/ I guess having 20-40 horses at a time is now ideal.

is This BP horse only one time use? if he dies you lost it forever or is there a way to summon it again?

It is the level 60 BP horse skin, therefore, they live as long as you can keep them safe and the game does not send them to an imminent death :expressionless: .

They’re normal horses, you have to tame them in the stables as usual and then apply the skin via a fodder, just like previous DLC white / black horses.
So you can make another one yea!

check the tribe log / server log… the cause of death should be listed there, I dont think it fell inside the sinkhole by an error, probably a pack of undead dogs killed it and it “sliped” down the hole… ive seen that happen before.

Too bad you lost your horse tho…

You are right, I forgot to mention that I did check the log, and the poor horse was indeed killed by an Skeleton Archer :frowning: (just updated the OP).

Just a follow up on this report, here is a better video of the horse zoning to The Sinkhole arena (at least its green health bar):
