Mount reported as dead and deleted whilst swimming

Bug Description:

While riding horse in the water, I dismounted to swim because it’s faster. Was informed that my horse had died while following me. Same issue happened to clan mate at same time. 22:56 EU server 8004. No corpse was found, all harvested mats gone too.

Expected Behavior:

Not having my horse deleted for no reason

Steps to Reproduce:

I really have no idea. I’d like not to reproduce this particular bug, ta

Welcome to the Forum. Dismounting from a horse while swimming is a known bug from last update. Have not heard of a fix coming. Didn’t know if you were swimming your horse or not. Sorry to hear about your horse.

Happened to me too, My horse and its inventory were gone while dismounting when swimming with the message Your Horse was killed while following you. I have it on video when it happened.

Hey there,

We’re aware of this one as @sestus2009 pointed out and a fix for it is already on the way (it’s completed internally, but pending QA verification).
Sorry for the frustration this issue may cause.
