Singleplayer offline and I haven’t downloaded the last two patches. At Xel-Ha I built Arena gates in the ruins and use it as my base. The gorillas and birds can stick half their bodies thru the doors and eventually get thru; it’s not just arena doors as I’ve tried other ones with the same result. Anyone else having this issue?
Yup
Noticed this the other day putting down fences and gates to keep some tigers out of my pasture area on savage wilds map.
After building them i aggroed the tigers to test the barriers and the tigers just ran through the gates.
I play on PC so it’s apparently a bug on all platforms.
I did two purges, and it was the same thing. They just went right thru the gate without destroying it. How do you break this? I notice that they broke the slave pot which worked then it didn’t then it did and now it doesn’t again. This is the gang that can’t code straight. At this point it really is just pathetic.
I think I’ve solved it. You have to “lock the gate for Thralls” so I apologize about my comment on coding.
Thanks for the mention I wasn’t aware you could lock a gate for thralls. @1984 appreciate the information.
Thanks, I’ll check it out. I noticed this recently with some stable gates on Siptah.
Update: worked like a charm! The rocknose that usually clips through was right up on it trying to go through, then suddenly stopped, turned around, and went back to where it came from. Seems that without locking the door/gate, it reads as opened completely and the npc can see you. The moment you lock it, suddenly you’re invisible behind it. Interesting…
The other thing is you need to keep your Tavern door unlocked or no one shows up.
Yeah, I’m aware of that… however I don’t have my tavern at that outpost, so it’s not an issue.
